Pension U Krtka is located right next to the ski slope and cable car in the center of Harrachov. The location is ideal not only for lovers of winter sports, but also for those who want to explore the nature in the Giant Mountains. The bus station is only a 6-minute walk from the pension. The Mumlava waterfalls can be reached on foot within 30 minutes.

Mumlava waterfalls
These beautiful waterfalls are one of the most famous natural attractions in the Giant Mountains. They are located just a short walk from the centre of Harrachov and are easily accessible on foot. The waterfalls fall from a height of 10 metres and are surrounded by picturesque nature, making it an ideal place to relax and take photos.
Sklárna a pivovar Novosad & syn
This glasswork is one of the oldest still functioning glasswork in the Czech Republic. You can see traditional glassmaking and then taste beer from the adjacent microbrewery. The glassworks offers tours during which you can learn more about the history and techniques of glass production.
Forestry exposition Šindelka
This exposition, operated by the KRNAP Administration, is located in the building of the former forestry station. It offers an interesting view of forestry, hunting and nature conservation in the Krkonoše Mountains. For more demanding tourists, a trip to the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka, is a unique experience. From Harrachov you can follow marked hiking trails that will take you through beautiful mountain scenery.
